My summer classes are Oral Communications and Intermediate Algebra. It seems like I will be able to cope. All the chairs were full in both of the rooms, I had no idea so many people would be taking summer school.
The Speech class had the usual “getting acquainted activities” where I felt like I was back at church camp.
Int. Algebra, for this first day, is a review of the last two weeks of Elementary Algebra. I have 18 problems for homework, so I should be over there figuring.
The dishwasher repairman cannot come until Friday. My hands are not happy, but at least I have a sink and running hot water, right? Count the blessings!
In other news, Chris has a J.O.B. where he had to have his SS card copied and there is a time of training. He can work full time all summer, he is not taking classes. The store closes at 6pm on Saturdays, so he will have time for band practice or a gig.
DoF is still figuring out the VW Beetle Bug. He was able to drive it awhile off the property on Sunday, and I had a discussion with the insurance lady today about it. Insurance is such a racket. Pay premiums month after month, but when the time comes for payment, some little detail is pulled out and no checks come around our way. It’s the law in this state, car insurance.
I had better get to those Algebra problems.
